Installation in 3 easy steps.

  1. Once you have determined the ideal placement of Float Buddy™ on your phone, use included alcohol wipe to gently clean mounting area on your device or case.*

  2. Peel paper backing off mounting disk and carefully place mounting disc adhesive side down, on the back side of your device, pressing firmly into place for at least three seconds.

    *Ensure unit placement does not interfere with functions such as the camera lens while in use,

    **Float Buddy™ mounting disc is not meant to be removed once it is put in place.

Using Float Buddy™

  1. When you are ready to use Float Buddy™ attach mounting disc to phone case or use your existing pop-up phone holder.

  2. Lock Float Buddy™ into place.

  3. Float Buddy™ will inflate when submerged in water.

CAUTION: Spillage or excess moisture may result in the Float Buddy™ automatically deploying as it is intended to do.

CAUTION: Float Buddy™ is meant to hold devices less than or equal to 1.5 lbs or 24 ounces. Using Float Buddy for devices larger than specified weight could result in loss of device.

WARNING: Never intentionally submerge yourself in water with a Float Buddy™ attached to your device while it is in a restricted environment (example: pocket, purse, fanny pack, wristlet, etc.)

WARNING: The device contains small parts, including sharp pins and an inflatable buoy. Keep away from children.

WARNING: DO NOT disassemble. This product is intended for single use only. Discard after buoy has been deployed, or if the red tab on Spring Plunger is showing.

WARNING: DO NOT expose to heat or prolonged direct sun exposure. Always ensure Float Buddy™ is kept below 120 degree Fahrenheit (48 degree Celsius). Failure to do so can cause device to deploy unexpectedly or malfunction.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Float Buddy™ mounting disc is not meant to be moved once it is put in place. If you wish to move it, please use a new mounting disc.

Float Buddy™ will fit most pop-up phone holders. Individual results may vary. It is up to the user to determine suitability of third-party phone holders for use with Float Buddy.

Do not use Float Buddy™ if any parts appear cracked, broken or distorted. Doing so could result in the loss of your device.

Do NOT disassemble Float Buddy™.

Product is activated by a moisture reactive tablet. Tablet disintegrates when in contact with water and has a shelf life of approximately 4 years if stored properly in a cool, dry environment.
